The electric vehicle has become one of the daily travel choices and is growing in popularity among consumers. So how much electricity does one charge of an electric vehicle use?

First it depends on the capacity of your battery, and then on the efficiency and power of your charger, including the rectifier inside it. Note that it has nothing to do with how long you charge, because the charging current varies greatly and time alone tells you little.

If your battery is 100 and you start charging after it has been completely drained, the electricity used by one charge is 1 thousand multiplied by 0.1, that is 0.1 kilowatt-hour.

For other capacities multiply in the same way: 40 gives 0.04 kilowatt-hour. Then work out the efficiency of the charger, multiply by it and add the heat loss during charging.

You can also make a simple calculation from another angle. The user manual of an electric vehicle states the mileage per full charge, generally 50 km, and the power consumption per 100 km. For example, if 100 km consumes 1.2 kilowatt-hours, each kilometer takes 1.2/100=0.012 kilowatt-hour. Suppose you ride 25 km on average every day, then you need to charge every two days, each day consumes 0.012X25=0.3 kilowatt-hours, that is 0.6 kilowatt-hours for two days, 9 kilowatt-hours a month, less than 6 yuan, very little. The data provided by the manufacturer is tested under standard conditions, and it varies slightly with seasons and road conditions.
