1. To prevent fires, pay attention from the moment you buy the vehicle: check the brand and the built-in devices. When buying an electric vehicle, choose one from a manufacturer with a production license and a good market reputation, and also check whether it has low-voltage protection, over-current protection, and short-circuit protection.

2. Use the vehicle scientifically, inspect it often, and maintain it well. When the vehicle needs repair, choose a professional repair organization or technician. Do not remove the electrical protection devices on your own, and keep the wiring and protective devices in good, effective condition.

3. In places where vehicles are stored together, keep electric vehicles separate from bicycles and provide fire-fighting facilities and equipment as required. Strengthen vehicle management to avoid situations such as sun exposure or rain while parked. Park electric vehicles in safe places, never in stairwells, evacuation passages, or at emergency exits, and do not block fire lanes.

4. In addition, when charging, run the wiring in a standard way and charge within a time limit. Try to charge outdoors. Choose a suitable circuit, fix the wiring in place, and add short-circuit and leakage protection devices. Avoid charging for too long and follow the instructions; in principle, charging time should not exceed 10 hours.

5. Try not to leave the charger on the vehicle, because bumps on the road can easily cause an internal short circuit in the charger and start a fire during the next charge. Owners should also avoid riding in rain or through flooded sections, to keep water out of the motor and prevent a short-circuit fire during charging.
