How to Charge an Electric Vehicle Battery Separately
In modern home life, almost every household depends on an electric vehicle, so how to maintain it has become a common concern. As we all know, maintaining an electric vehicle is mainly about maintaining its battery, and charging is something that needs special attention. So what is the best way to charge an electric vehicle battery separately? Let us explain below:
1. Under normal conditions (not often carrying passengers or always climbing hills), it is best to recharge after traveling 60%-70% of the maximum range stated in the manual; this avoids both early capacity loss and over-discharge.
2. If you often carry passengers or climb hills, it is recommended to recharge after 50% of the maximum range stated in the manual.

3. If you rarely ride and in a whole week do not reach 60%-70% of the maximum range, it is recommended to give a charge.
4. If you are away or do not ride for a long time, it is recommended to charge once a month.
5. In any case, do not charge an electric vehicle battery separately for more than 8 hours, and especially in the situations described in points 3 and 4, do not exceed 5 hours. All of the above assume that the battery performance has not clearly declined; if it has, please adjust accordingly.
For the first three charges of a new vehicle, the battery must be charged for 12-14 hours to activate it, and even when it already shows as full you should keep charging; after that, charge for 6-8 hours each time. One more point owners should note: when charging the battery separately, keep the charging environment dry and clean, and do not wrap the charger in a plastic bag or plastic bottle, because a charger that cannot breathe will easily burn out; try not to use fast charging, and if not necessary, no more than twice a month.
