How to Tell If an Electric Vehicle Battery Is Genuine
Recently we came across news reports of counterfeit batteries, most of which sell old or inferior batteries as new ones. So how do you tell whether an electric vehicle battery is new? Here are a few ways to identify a genuine electric vehicle battery.
First, check whether the outer packaging is damaged or shows signs of being opened, then open it and look at the battery itself, checking the surface for scuffs or scratch marks and the metal terminals at the positive and negative poles for rust. The surface of a genuine battery is always fresh and new.

Second, many brands of electric vehicle battery now carry an anti-counterfeit label at the seam of the shell when they leave the factory, so check whether the label on a genuine battery is normal. You can also scratch off the password coating on the label to verify its authenticity.
Third, look at the production date printed on the battery and the warranty card. In general, legitimate electric vehicle battery products will have both; the warranty card in particular is an effective way to deal with problems after purchase, and a product without one is certainly fake.
Finally, we recommend choosing a battery from a major brand, and you can buy it from a local dealer.
