First, charge often.

When the temperature is low, power is used up quickly, so charge whenever you can rather than waiting until the battery is drained. Even for short trips, it is recommended to charge every day and to do one deep-cycle charge and discharge each month to extend the battery's life.

Second, try to fully charge each time.

If the battery charge is below its actual capacity, it affects the driving range and the battery's service life. After the charger's indicator light switches, keep a float charge for another two hours.

Third, give a helping push when starting.

Make good use of inertia. For example, when going downhill, cut the power early and glide using momentum; when approaching a traffic light, cut the power early and glide forward on momentum, which saves power and reduces braking; when starting the e-bike, push off the ground with your foot to help it set off, which increases starting speed and reduces power loss. 

Fourth, develop good riding habits.

Do not brake frequently, do not remove the speed limiter, do not overload, start slowly, and do not twist the throttle hard.

Fifth, choose a good battery.

A good battery is the fundamental guarantee of long and reliable use. Do not be greedy for low prices, or you may end up with a refurbished or shoddy battery.
