Because electric vehicles have advantages such as being eco-friendly and convenient, they are loved by more and more consumers. Yet in the course of using an e-bike, you will inevitably run into some battery problems. And when buying an electric vehicle battery, many people still do not clearly know how to test whether a battery is good. Let us analyze it for you below.

1. Check whether the markings on the battery are complete, including the manufacturer's name, product specifications and model, manufacturing date, and trademark. See whether the inner and outer markings match, and especially check whether the product has a prominent label and whether the production date is recent. This is the most direct way to test a battery and the one most people use.

2. Note the appearance of the battery. Check for deformation, cracks, scratches, or traces of leakage. The battery terminals should be clean and free of rust, and the markings should be clear.

3. Note the rated capacity marked on the battery. The larger the rated capacity, the longer the discharge time. Try not to buy a battery with no rated capacity marked, and check whether it is designed for electric vehicles; if there are several capacity markings, the rated capacity should prevail.

4. Choose branded batteries from well-known, large companies. Batteries are usually supplied by professional battery manufacturers, and quality and price differ between brands and factories. It is recommended to choose a battery from a large brand with good after-sales service.

After the above introduction, you should have some understanding of how to pick an electric vehicle battery. We hope this helps with your future battery purchases.
