Power-Saving Secrets for Electric Vehicle Batteries
Can an electric vehicle battery save power? Of course! Even with the same battery, some last much longer than others, because riding and charging habits differ. Pay attention to the small details of riding style and daily care, and your electric vehicle will run with less power consumption.

Charger parameters differ from model to model, so do not swap chargers casually unless you are sure. If you must charge at two places, it is best to ask the electric vehicle service center or a professional at a repair shop to prepare another dedicated charger.
Grasp the charging time accurately. When the green light comes on, the battery is usable or essentially fully charged, but still short of 100%. It is recommended to keep float-charging for two more hours after the green light comes on.
A periodic deep discharge also helps activate the battery and can slightly increase its capacity. The usual method is to fully discharge the battery on a regular basis, which means riding the vehicle under normal load on flat ground until the first low-voltage protection kicks in.
Note: we especially stress the first low-voltage protection. After the battery triggers low-voltage protection for the first time, its voltage will rise again after a while and return to a non-low-voltage state, and using the battery at that point does great harm to it. After the full discharge, give the battery a full charge, and you will feel that the capacity has improved.
Make the most of coasting whenever possible. When going downhill, cut the power early and coast to slow down. When approaching a traffic light, start coasting in advance to brake as little as possible.
When starting, twist the throttle slowly. This is relatively safe, avoids the impact of high current on the battery, and reduces power loss and wear on battery life.
Chargers for electric vehicles are currently designed for an ambient temperature of 25°C, so charging at 25°C works best. Since the real ambient temperature rarely stays at 25°C, overcharging in summer and undercharging in winter are inevitable. When charging, it is best to place the battery and charger in a ventilated, room-temperature environment, such as a well-ventilated indoor spot.

After reading these power-saving tips, many easygoing riders will say: too much trouble, I will just do whatever is comfortable! These power-saving methods are simply friendly reminders from Xupai batteries; use them or not as you like. But please do not get annoyed and say you will stop riding and just walk, or we would feel truly sorry! Of course, if you have friends who ride electric vehicles, you can forward this article to them. Give others roses and the fragrance stays on your hands.
