On May 27-28, 2018, the 4th Member Congress of the 8th Session and the 4th Council Meeting of the Lead-acid Storage Battery Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association were hosted by the branch and undertaken by Xupai Power Co., Ltd., held grandly at the New Zijin Hotel in Changxing.

 Li Yanxia, Director of the Quality Department of the China Machinery Industry Federation; Yi Xiaobo, Director of the Shenyang Storage Battery Research Institute; Zhang Rui, Chairman of the Lead-acid Storage Battery Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association; Xu Hong, Deputy Secretary-General of the branch; Zhang Yuquan, Chairman of Xupai Power Co., Ltd., the host of the meeting; chairmen and vice chairmen of other major battery groups and other guests attended and delivered keynote reports. The main purpose of the meeting was to sum up 2017, plan 2018 and discuss how to better promote the healthy development of the lead-acid battery industry.

 Zhang Yuquan, Chairman of Xupai Power Co., Ltd., addressed the meeting as its host. He first thanked the Lead-acid Storage Battery Branch for giving Xupai such an opportunity to contribute to the industry and serve everyone, a chance to gather, discuss and advance together; he then affirmed that Xupai would never give up on the path of green and healthy development, and revealed that Xupai’s battery research project in Australia had been established with certain results achieved.

 As a traditional manufacturing sector now facing rising costs, stricter national environmental policies and the introduction of new national standards, how should we advance the lead-acid battery industry toward high-quality sustainable development?

 At present, the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and the Two Sessions has brought important opportunities for higher-quality, more efficient and sustainable development of the lead-acid battery industry.

 Strengthening ecological development with green growth as the foundation, and as China’s economy and technology advance rapidly, we in traditional manufacturing should adapt to the changes of the times and keep pace with them, using intelligent manufacturing and innovation to lead industrial development; deepen reform, make a global layout to fully revitalize the real economy, seize opportunities of the times and pursue a lead-acid battery industry of higher quality, greater efficiency and sustainable development.

 At the award ceremony of the morning session, the branch also solemnly honored the collectives and individuals that had made outstanding contributions to the industry in 2017. Xupai stood out at this meeting and received many accolades, winning the titles of "Famous Brand of the Lead-acid Battery Industry 2017", "Five-Star Quality Enterprise of the Lead-acid Battery Industry 2017" and "Advanced Collective of the Lead-acid Battery Industry 2017", while Chairman Zhang Yuquan of Xupai Power Co., Ltd. was named "Leader Figure of the Lead-acid Battery Industry 2017". This is high affirmation and encouragement for Xupai.

 As a leader of the lead-acid battery industry, Xupai will keep optimizing itself and devote more energy to enhancing lead-acid battery performance and corporate environmental governance, contributing its share to the industry and the country!
