Xupai Battery Holds Annual Military Training for 2014
"Attention! Stand easy! Eyes right! Front look! Count off!" The instructors’ commands rose one after another. "One, two, three, four..." On December 7, 2014, on the grounds of Xupai Battery’s Jiangsu factory, row after row of employees in Xupai uniforms shouted rousing slogans and marched in step, full of spirit as they carried out military training.

During the three-day military training, Xupai specially invited professionals from companies that run corporate military training to guide the sessions. The first day was classroom training on corporate culture, and the following two days featured the regular drill items we are all familiar with - saluting, goose-stepping, leg kicks and choir singing of military songs, among others. To enrich the training, a tug-of-war and a team brick-carrying event with a fixed number of members were added to lift the atmosphere and strengthen unity. During the training all staff were divided into 8 squadrons, each with a squadron leader, keeping the schedule in good order.
On the day the training formally opened, General Manager Zhang of Xupai Battery delivered an important speech on the necessity and importance of military training for enterprise management and for strengthening the company’s overall competitiveness, hoping that employees would take a correct and positive attitude toward the training. When it concluded safely and successfully, he again expressed admiration for the employees who kept training in the severe cold, affirmed the will and ability they showed, and noted that their overall quality had improved. The training reshaped the fine spirit of Xupai employees, strengthened enterprise cohesion and laid a solid foundation for a more brilliant future for Xupai Battery.

Today, the most welcome staff training method among Chinese enterprises is military-style corporate development training. Such training gives a company better employees, and military-style drills equip them with soldier-like fine qualities. Even more importantly, it helps employees integrate into the life of the collective, adapt to the market’s demands on every side of the enterprise, further nurture team awareness and the spirit of hard work, and sharpen their dedication and down-to-earth working ability - truly killing many birds with one stone!
