At 10:00 a.m. on August 29, 2015, the second-round scholarship awarding ceremony of Xupai Student Dream and the launch ceremony of the Xupai Charity 2015 Into Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan - Supporting Mountain Education program were officially held at Xupai Power Co., Ltd.! The chairman and major company leaders of Xupai Power, together with 30 aided college students, attended the ceremony. According to the commitment made to the students in 2014, the company supports their four years of studies with 20,000 yuan per person. At today’s ceremony each student received the second-year grant of 6,000 yuan from the company to pay tuition and complete their studies. At the ceremony the chairman of Xupai Power declared the official launch of the 2015 Into Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan - Supporting Mountain Education public welfare program.

Student representative Zhou Wei from Southwest University of Political Science and Law also spoke, giving a brief summary of her past year of college life and heartfelt thanks to Xupai Power Co., Ltd. for its long-standing love for student aid; she said the students would keep society’s kindness and everyone’s expectations in mind, study hard and gather positive energy for a bright future.

Subsequently the chairman of Xupai Power Co., Ltd. delivered a speech. Since entering Suqian in 2008, the company has achieved great development over seven years, which is inseparable from the strong support of all walks of life in Suqian. Xupai has always been filled with gratitude, proactively undertaking social responsibility and enthusiastically supporting public welfare while seeking its own growth, and repaying society with concrete actions. In 2014 it contributed 600,000 yuan to launch a four-year student aid program. In 2015 its charity work will be based in Suqian and expand nationwide; over the coming months Xupai will enter poverty-stricken areas in Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan, and devote 500,000 yuan in funds to support mountain-area education in various forms.

The chairman also urged the students to cherish their learning opportunities, strive hard, change their fate with knowledge and repay society with actions. Finally he set three requirements for the aided students: first, have ideals and beliefs; second, be grateful; third, have a sense of responsibility and courage to take on duties.
