Founded in November 1996 as the renamed Jiangsu Quality Inspection Association, it is a social organization formed voluntarily by enterprises of all kinds and by units and individuals engaged in quality management work.
Purpose
It is guided by the important thought of the Three Represents and the spirit of the 17th Party Congress, fully implements the Scientific Outlook on Development, and carries out the policies of the state and of the provincial Party committee and government. Abiding by the Constitution, laws, regulations and national policy and by social ethics, it centers on economic development, adapts to the needs of a market economy, and organizes all members to unite the province’s workers and quality professionals in the cause of quality. It provides comprehensive services to promote total quality management and scientific and technological innovation in enterprises and institutions, improve the quality of products, engineering and services, strengthen quality awareness across society and enterprises’ competitiveness, achieve steady growth and prosperity of the national economy, and accelerate social progress, improve people’s quality of life and raise the quality of the population.
