At this fine moment when the whole country celebrates the Spring Festival, we welcome the grand groundbreaking of Xupai Power’s new-energy battery project with an annual output of 5.6 million kWh. The main participants in the ceremony included Liu Haihong, Secretary of the Suyu District Party Committee; Yin Qiguo, District Head of Suyu; Yuan Changhua, Chairman of the Suyu District People’s Congress; Zhang Wenquan, General Manager of Xupai Power; Chen Lei, member of the Standing Committee of the Suyu District Party Committee; Xu Haitao, Head of the Publicity Department of the district Standing Committee; Tang Shanlin, Director of the Management Committee of the Eco-Chemical Science and Technology Industrial Park; Chen Denglin, Deputy General Manager of Xupai Power; and Wang Sihua, Deputy General Manager of Xupai Power, together with workers, more than 100 in all. District Head Yin Qiguo of Suyu presided.

At the ceremony, the director of the eco-park management committee introduced the enterprises starting work together in the park, and Zhang Wenquan, General Manager of Xupai Power and representative of the starting enterprises, spoke; Liu Haihong, Secretary of the Suyu District Party Committee, announced that Xupai Power’s new-energy battery project with an annual output of 5.6 million kWh had officially broken ground.

Xupai Power Co., Ltd. was founded in 2007; its Phase I project was completed and put into production in October 2014, and in 2017 its tax revenue exceeded 90 million yuan for the first time. The new-energy battery project groundbreaking today, with an annual output of 5.6 million kWh, covers 360 mu, with a planned total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and a building area of 150,000 square meters, and will be completed and put into production by the end of September 2018. The whole line adopts advanced domestic internal-acidification intelligent charge-discharge technology. Compared with Phase I, it adds continuous casting, stamping and rolling automation lines, an automatic casting-and-welding line and automated packaging lines, and uses intelligent manipulators instead of manual labor at key positions. Once Phase II is completed and operating, it is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of 4 billion yuan, tax revenue of 200 million yuan and 3,500 jobs, with a single plant area and production capacity leading the nation.

In the new year, Xupai Power will stay true to its original intention and always uphold the business philosophy of “quality, integrity, service, development”, hold to green development and actively fulfill its social responsibility. It will make “Xupai” a symbol of China’s high-quality batteries and a model brand enterprise of Suqian City, contributing even more to building Suyu into a strong industrial district, an e-commerce hub and a happy home.
