From May 27 to 28, 2018, the 4th Member Congress and 4th Board Meeting of the 8th Session of the Lead-Acid Battery Sub-committee of the China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association was held grandly at the Xin Zijin Hotel in Changxing, hosted by the sub-committee and organized by Xupai Power Co., Ltd.

      Zhang Rui, chairman of the Lead-Acid Battery Sub-committee of the China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association; Yi Xiaobo, chief technical expert of the expert committee for lead-acid battery product quality evaluation; Xu Hong, deputy secretary-general of the sub-committee; and Zhang Yuquan, chairman of host Xupai Power Co., Ltd., together with chairmen and other senior executives of other major battery manufacturers, attended the meeting and delivered keynote reports. The main purpose of the conference was to review 2017, plan for 2018, and discuss how to better promote the healthy development of the lead-acid battery industry.

      Zhang Yuquan, chairman of Xupai Power Co., Ltd., addressed the meeting as its host. He first thanked the Lead-Acid Battery Sub-committee for giving Xupai this opportunity to contribute to the industry and serve everyone, a chance for all to gather, discuss and make progress together. He then affirmed that Xupai will never give up on the path of green and healthy development, and revealed that a Xupai battery research project has been set up in Australia, already achieving certain results.

      With rising costs, stricter national environmental policies and the rollout of the new national standard weighing on traditional manufacturing, how can the lead-acid battery industry advance toward high-quality, sustainable development?

      At present, the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and the Two Sessions has brought important opportunities for the lead-acid battery industry to develop with higher quality, better efficiency and sustainability.

      Ecological progress must build on green development. With the rapid growth of China economy and technology, traditional manufacturers should embrace the changes of the times and keep pace with them, using intelligent manufacturing and innovation to lead the industry; they should deepen reform, plan globally, revitalize the real economy, seize the opportunities of the times, and pursue a lead-acid battery industry of higher quality, greater efficiency and sustainable development.

      At the award ceremony during the morning session, the sub-committee also gave solemn recognition to collectives and individuals that made outstanding contributions to the industry in 2017. Xupai stood out at this conference and won many honors: Well-known Brand of the Lead-Acid Battery Industry 2017, Five-Star Quality Enterprise of the Lead-Acid Battery Industry 2017 and Advanced Collective of the Lead-Acid Battery Industry 2017, while Zhang Yuquan, chairman of Xupai Power Co., Ltd., was named Leading Figure of the Lead-Acid Battery Industry 2017. This is high recognition of and encouragement for Xupai.

      As a leader in the lead-acid battery industry, Xupai will keep improving itself and devote more energy to enhancing battery performance and corporate environmental governance, contributing its strength to the industry and to the country!
